Jimmy Dean once recorded a touching tribute to mom’s everywhere called “I.O.U.”. And this year on May 11th, which is Mother’s Day, the city of Richmond, VA – where he lived – will offer their own tribute to the iconic entertainer by staging The First Annual Jimmy Dean Music Festival.
The event will take place at Richmond’s Downtown Marriott in the Grand Ballroom, and Dean’s long-time friend Whisperin’ Bill Anderson will headline the show. Dean’s widow, Donna Meade Dean, will also be among performers at the Festival.
Tickets are available HERE – or by calling 1-800-514-3849. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Education Fund at Henricus Historical Park, located on the outskirts of Richmond.
