R.O.P.E. HONORS BILL ANDERSON FOR 3rd TIME

Whisperin’ Bill Anderson is seen here holding his Business Person Award, which was recently presented to him in Nashville by the Reunion of Professional Entertainers (R.O.P.E.) and marks his third time of being honored by the organization. In 1993 Anderson was presented with their Songwriter Award, and in 2010 he was given their Entertainer Award. All three awards are deemed as Lifetime Achievement Awards, rather than an award for any one specific year’s work.

R.O.P.E. has been officially uniting the country music entertainment industry in fellowship since 1983. Its membership roster includes artists, songwriters, record producers, booking agents, record promoters, disc jockeys, and music business executives.

Anderson is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the world-famous Grand Ole Opry.
