The rumors are swirling, so I guess I’d better ‘fess up….
They are true.
I will be going on the Country’s Family Reunion Caribbean cruise next January.
I haven’t been on a country music cruise in several years, and I’m really looking forward to this one. We’ll be sailing January 19th-24th, 2013, and going to Belize, where I have never been but which I understand is beautiful, and to Cozumel. And have you seen the lineup of talent that will be going with us?
People like Gene Watson, Moe Bandy, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Jeannie Seely, T. Graham Brown and more. Eleven acts total plus Nadine and the cast of Larry’s Country Diner. It’s a good thing we’re going on a big ship…The Liberty of the Seas from Royal Caribbean cruise lines. Anything smaller wouldn’t hold us all!
If you’d like more information, go to www.cfrcruise.com and check it out. I really hope lots of our fans and friends will come cruising with us. This one is going to be special.
On another subject, I want to apologize to our fan club members for the problems we have had in distributing our March newsletter. We have a new server, and every time we’d think the problems were solved, another problem would pop up. Some of you received the letter in your mailbox, but most didn’t. If you’d like to read my letter, see the Ask Bill question and answer column, and browse some pictures from our recent overseas trip, go to the Fans section of our web site. Click there, and it should come in loud and clear.
I’m leaving tonight for a long weekend in Florida to get my annual fix of spring training baseball. I’ll be seeing my favorite team, the Braves, twice along with the Blue Jays, the Rays, the Mets, the Astros, and the Cardinals. Most of you know that I’m a gigantic sports fan, and this is one of my favorite times of the year. I always come back refreshed and ready to jump back into writing and singing songs.
