I was surprised to find that you were born in Columbia, S.C. Do you know where Effingham, S.C. is? It’s a small town joining Florence, S.C. This is where I was born, moved away from and eventually moved back to.Your trip to Washington was very impressive. Glad you had the opportunity to visit .
Keep up the good work. Sure enjoy the TV program you host with so many of our older singers, those already gone and the ones we are still blessed to have with us. Thank you for that.

My husband had the opportunity to visit DC on the Honor flight from Wisconsin last October. He was impressed. He had a great time although he had to be pushed in a wheelchair by his oldest son who went with him. They thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

Bill: I teared up as I read about the gentlemen at the World War II Memorial. My Dad was in the Army during that time and it has always made me very proud. You put to words those feelings so many of us have, whether we lived through that period or were born shortly after. My husband served 30 years (including Vietnam) and my son and daughter serve today. The military has always been a big part of my life and I am so very proud of today’s young men and women. Thank you for the song “Old Army Hat” and for the many ways you show how much you love our great U.S.A. I saw you sing the song on Larry Black’s country cruise and it put a chill down my back. We have problems as you said, but I would live in no other place in the world. I am proud to be an American. Thank you so very much.
