Sorry for your loss Bill. Thank you for sharing. I always liked when I heard you sing “City Lights” and all your songs. All the best. I’m listening to you on google mini.

Dear bill. This is a wonderful story about singers and songwriters and how they often interact. I have been drawn back to following you and your career since hearing your work on Jamey Johnson’s “the Guitar Song”. We actually met in the early 80s while we lived in Lebanon, Tennessee. Once was at the Texas boot factory there in Lebanon. I was there with my dad (RIP) shopping for new boots. We became big fans of yours and the Po’ Folks restaurants back then. Today, we live in Indianspolis and our kids are all grown. I also believe I saw you once at the Mt. Juliet music store. Anyway, I am now 67 years old and still love to hear when you do the whispering parts in songs. I still seem to recall you had an old log cabin from your family there in Lebanon. But, that was a long time ago.
    Stay healthy, my friend.
