That is so sweet when a grandparent gets a call like that from a grandchild and I can see how it would melt you heart as it would mine to. I have lots of grandkids and they are all special but when one stops by to visit it means the world to me. Keep up your Country Family Reunions as they are wonderful and the latest tribute to Merle Hagard is great. I saw Marty’s tribute to his dad in Branson and also have seen you in Branson and got your picture and signed my shirt for me which i have many stars on. Keep writing songs and singing as you are one of the BEST . Will you ever be back in Branson again? Hope so as I want to see you again. I do love your monthy newsletter as it is so interesting and keeping everyone up to date. Thank you for all the memories and many more to come and enjoy that evening with that precious granddaughter, Hallie, she is a little doll. I can see what a proud PawPaw you are and so nice for just the two of you to go to dinner. I love the one on ones with the grandkids as it is always special for both.

Bill I was just thinking how great it would be to know some of the process it takes to have a song written and then how the artist takes the song and makes it their own. I have always been interested in how a song writer get’s paid for their work. Just thinking out loud about the other side of the music business.

Bill I am 80years old and I also have a Great Grand daughter that is 12 years old now & she makes me melt every time she calls me up and wants to do something with me only. I don’t have Loretta Lynn or a Bill Anderson, but she don’t care about that because she tells me she loves me and that makes me the biggest man in the world to her & that’s all I need. So enjoy what you have it don’t last forever.

The love of a grandchild is a joy many of us never know, enjoy every minute of it. We never had children but a few years ago two families at church as if they could call us grandma and grandpa, what a joy that has brought to our lives. Love your music.
